I can't say for sure, but it seems unlikely the engines are any different between the two sisters. And the main tubes in the frame seem pretty much the same too.

I mount the lower engine crash guards on my 310GS from Wunderlich, and it is the same articel number and parts to both G310R and G310GS.
(Art nr: WUN-40573-102).
Im very sure that every brand of this lower angine crash guard had a perfect fit to both the models.

Hi Folks, I have a query on BMW G310 GD upper crash guard.

I’ve put it due to “Fear” and secondly to mount “Aux lights”. BMW folks helped me to fit them at their service centre. But later after a few days we had a quick discussion with some mechanics and they mentioned it won’t be of much help, and it will be a load on the mounts under the beak. When asked one of the mechanics suggested in person stating better to remove and any impacts on the crash guard will affect the mount points.

Also, it is an aftermarket accessory sold by one of the BMW showrooms and my service is different mentioned it is not an approved BMW Motorrad accessory.

I have to decide on upper crash guard, remove or keep it and it’s ~5Kg SS material.

Any suggestions are welcome 🙏
