Today i have lower the bike 1inch...2,5cm in the front
1-remove the frontfender 6 bolts
2..loosen the bolts from the front axle and clamp bolts
3...remove the left and right panels with the bmw logo 3bolts 2 in front 1 on the rear
Slide it out of the way
4....loosen the 4 bolts from the lower tripple tree left and right
5....remove axle front wheel let the wheel sitting with the brakedisc in the calliper
6.....now you loose the upper tripleclamp bolt from one side at the time ,holding the leg with your hand and loosen it with the other hand after that you can push the leg up about 1 inch and tighten the upper pinchbolt the other side the same way
After that you know for sure that both sides are even
7.....after the legs has the same amount of space about both sides start to tighten the pinch bolts from above to under one side at the time til 19nm
8....after that let the bike drop down till the front axle slides in the hole
9...after torq the pinchbolts push the bike up and down to settle the frontwheel after rhat torq the wheelnut at 50 nm after that the 4 clampbolts at 19 nm
the whole time the front wheel was sitting loose in the brake calliper without problems you can put also a litlle wood between the brakepads in the calliper so you can remove the whole frontwheel if you think thaths easyer
The biggest problem was to raise the bike because the oilpan is not straight and you need a litlle piece of wood under it to level the motorlift under the bike but it is scary and there uis no other way to lift the front off the ground.

Finaly the rear is done
Put lowerlink from hyperpro after long waiting for the part in combination with the lower seat from bmw ,both feet almost flat on the ground its a 30min work to put the rearshock in and out of the bike in a good workshop 15min to depress the shock remove the old link and put the new link on the shock piece of cake, the bolts from the shocks need to torque to 56nm thats it.
Your only need to shorten the sidestand 1 inch and you will be fine the last 2 pictures are after and before the lowering

You maybe have a link to the lowering link?

I don't think it is a lowering link like a "bone" but a shorter end park for the rear shock which means you have to disassemble the shock to install. I would just get the shock from Rally-Raid that is adjustable and you don't need the extra equipment.
