To promote the G310R , BMW will be launching a comic book starring the bike. Called Riders in the Storm, it's set to be released in October.

This is the only teaser they've released so far.

Everytime I think of Riders in the Storm, I think of the song "Riders on the Storm" by The Doors... more commonly known for the remix with snoop dogg in Need For Speed games lol

This is actually a smart move since it's an uncommon way to market the bike and in a way that might allow them to reach out to a younger crowd unless there's an older crowd that still is into comics.

I think that's more of a demographic thing. Certain areas will definitely have an older generation into comics. However, I think more-so x-men and daredevil comics or whatever they read lol. But it'll be sure to attract the younger generation. Hopefully by younger that includes the ones that can actually attain one and ride it.

Uncommon but not new, Harley-Davidson has partnered with Marvel before.

I'm generally not a fan of comics but maybe some others would find the plot interesting.

The comic features a policewoman called Makani Terror and her three companions; a wolf with powers, racing rider Eve, and street artist Nikki Animah.

Just because there's a wolf with powers... I may be interested at this point..

Does the G310R comic have any animals with powers ? I sure hope so ..

Sorry, poor wording on my part. The g310r comic is the one that's getting the superpower wolf and police woman, etc. They'll go up against a group of evil doers called the Black Riders. It was supposed to be presented at omic Con Germany in Stuttgart on 25 and 26 June.

Starting to think it would have been better for them to create some animation, takes more effort and time but would be much more appealing to me. But even this comic is better than what other bike makers are doing, which is nothing.

I'm not one for comics so this doesn't really interest me but if you guys really want to read it they planned to commence publication from October 2016, right when the g310r is supposed to come out.

That is since it already reaches out to a specific crowd and is something I can only imagine working for so long till its self life is enough.
The question now is what else will they have come out, who will they target next?

It is promotional enough, I'm just curious as to how it'll get out there to potential owners rather than owners already. But who they'll target next will be interesting. I'm sure we'll see quite a bit of social media coverage from BMW directly
