Just though you'd like to see how your BMW G310R would bee shipped to your dealer. It looks like most of the pieces are installed already including the front wheel, they just had to connect the cables under the seat and take the joy of removing the screen plastic from you.

Always interested in seeing how bike makers prepare bikes which for the most part is the same but little thing change. Some bike makers don't have a full plastic cover over the bike, meanwhile BMW did it here for a somewhat cheap bike. Good stuff.

That's not bad at all. I've seen bikes with less packaging and this is definitely adequate. Nice frame around it to protect it and the plastic for scratches. All is well and quick to get "ready"

Looks like there's a small toolbag under the seat, behind where all the cables are located. Would be a good place to put a small first aid kit too, looks like there's still some space there.

You probably could but I doubt I would be stuffing anything in there. Looks like it would be a tight squeeze

Yea, it would be a tight squeeze, probably only fit a few band-aids and alcohol wipes. BMW just needs to come out with some storage solutions for the G310R or we're going to have to diy something.

Most riders ive seen are fine with carrying a bag so if you really need to carry something, that's your first line of what to do. Either that direction or you plan ahead to not carry anything or less than you typically do.

Backpacks makes for a sweaty back during the summer months. But it's honestly no big deal and it looks like there are places to pull a strap through under the seat. I plan to go for the GS model which should have mounting hooks.

There's always a solution that'll come up regardless and it's not hard to fab something up if you really need. The backpack solution really isn't comfortable but hey, you gotta do what you gotta do right? Just try to pack as light as possible and have a really small backpack.
