I decided to do this mod to increase my road presence and, hopefully, my visibility to other road users.
It was quite cheap really,It consista of the cheap chinese handguards,
some chinese stick on leds which are white and amber, and a gadget I got off ebay that warns you when you leave
an indicator on.(which I'm nearly always doing) I find the standard indicator built into the dash is not (for me) easy to
see in sunshine. This indicator 'alarm' also has a settable audio beeper that can be adjusted to let so many Flashers
happen before operating. The red LED on the dash also flashes, and its quite bright. Maybe not to everyones liking-
the audio I mean, might get on your nerves but thats the point. What I like about this mod is that the white
led goes off when the amber indicator comes on,that way,the amber led is more visiable.
Some 'proper hand guard lights, the expensive ones I've seen, operate by leaving the white running light on while the
amber indicators are flashing, IMHO think this tends to reduce the visible power of the amber leds by sort of masking it.
Any way, if anyones interested, I post details and links.

Please Note.
I installed new led flashers instaed of the OEM ones at this time so I did NOT cut into the original wiring..I branched into the new led plugs instead.
