Seeking advice on finding Barkbuster VPS or SW-Motech Kobra 2 point handguards for a 310GS. The bike handbags have the sw-motech Bar Back (up 22mm and back 22mm).

correction - the "bike Handbars" have been raised and moved back roughly 1.5 inches up and 1.5 inches back - which should provide some room for some 2 point hand guards. Seeking some expert advice in this area - thanks

What are you hoping for? Weather protection? Impact protection? Both? I’ve got the Barkbusters BHG-069 Storm guards for the G310GS, which provide both. And they work with the stock levers.

Thanks - will look them up. Hoping that the SW-Motech Kobra fit on the BHG-069 bark busters alum bars - but will likely take the BB Storm on your suggestion.

I have the SW Motech bar back risers fitted to my bike with Barkbusters and have had no problem with them I recently fitted the new windscreen from Rally-Raid and again no problem all are working fine with plenty of clearance.

Hi I fitted hand guards from the GS 1200 which you can get in a kit if you ask for 1000XR hand guards
they fit and are original BMW

At the end I tried the suggestion and went for BMW handguards kit for S 1000 XR (part No. 77328553967)
They fit but for fixing them it is necessary to use a 2 cm washer because the provided bush is not compatible with the bar end in addition the it is needed a M8X55 screw, since the standard one becomes too short.

Unfortunately the handguards interfere with the PUIG windscreen and also with the OEM one
(I suspect that is due to the fact that I've rotated forward the handlebar)
