Hi all,

Because the G310R is my first motorcycle, I want to ask you: How do you clean your motorcycle?
Not sure which products to use for several parts (brakes, chain, seat, ...)...

How do you do it? Excited to hear!

Mine is dirty now (700km on the clock), so I need to start cleaning >:)

Thanks in advance :grin2:

Just use dedicated motor cycle cleaners such as Muc-Off and follow the instructions. Do not use household detergents as they usually contain salt which is not good for paintwork.

Hi M, waterless polish works well if not to muddy.

Other than not using high water pressure around exposed wheel bearings, I've always just washed my bikes the way I washed my cars: A hose, a bucket off water with dish detergent, and a hand mitt. Rinse, wipe it (mostly) dry with an old towel, and go for a short ride. Done.

My current bike (F800GS) has just passed 85,000 miles/137,000km with no apparent washing-related adverse effects. A clean bike is a sure sign that you're not riding it enough. :wink2:
