At the Long Beach BMW motorcycles they recommended Culver Insurances. I ended it up using because they already had everything almost ready and could just take the bike home right away. For full coverage, new rider and only 3 years of US/CA driver license I am paying 500 year for my G310GS which I don't think its that bad. I can't tell you how their customer service is since I didn't need to use yet and hopefully wont need to, but to buy the insurance was super easy and fast!
Did you try Geico? I also got a good quote from them.
I have Geico for my G310GS with full coverage and uninsured / under-insured motorist coverage to the tune of 100/300k for each, 100k property damage and Medical, with 500 deductible and is about 325 per year.
I see that this forum is growing.
I use to be a member of the BMW F800 forum and most of our members where from Belgium and the Netherlands.
Now I see that a lot of the GS310 members are spread all over the world and it would be nice if everyone would show where (country) they are from.
This is a neat little game that used to be played on my old bikes forum. It encourages people to ride and explore while also staying safe.
The game is not limited to the G310R - Anyone who is a member of the forum can play the game on ANY motorcycle (as long as rules are followed).
