I also chose a 310 as my first bike, although I went with the GS. One thing you might want to consider is the warranty. One of the reasons I bought a new one is because even used ones were quite expensive. BMW has an excellent warranty and I'm happy to know that I'm covered for three years.
The biggest fault with these bikes is the BMW roundel. It suggests a high build quality etc. These are an entry level bike built to be affordable in markets to include their country of manufacture, India. This does not mean they are badly made or that TVS are not up to producing good motorcycles but more that you need to adjust your perceptions a bit.
yep, fully agree. It is a Indian TVS bike that bmw have adopted. @hulasteve .. If you read through this forum you will get many differing stories.
