Has anyone lowered their bike? I have a kit ordered and I am excited to get it. I am 5’3 and I tiptoe on my bike now. I want to know if it made a difference for any of you.

Oh, I know your situation. My wife is 5.4 and this is just enough to set the foot on the ground. I made once the joke and told her to get some plateau shoes from the 70s.Not funny, I was told by her. We didn't know there is a lowering kit available. The 1 inch made difference. Good luck, sorry I Could not help.
Haha, I wear my work boots to give me an extra little length. But even with those on I am still tippy toes. I’m just glad my bike is light and I can hold it up. I do agree with your wife, platform shoes would not work. My Husband made a similar comment to me as well. Thanks for responding.
