Need to get the seat reduced in hgt first, anyone know custom seat modifiers in south West?

Apparently there is an OEM low seat and a high seat option that you may want to consider. Who knows what availability will be though.

Congratulations on pulling the trigger. There is a low seat option though so I would inquire about that first. It's 32.3" I believe and looks to be a $383 option.

They must be joking, I can get the seat modified for less than an £100

Most things from dealerships are generally overpriced compared to what you pay the aftermarket to modify, but other go for factory due to the sheer convenience.

Unfortunately from what I checked, @Sidewinder definitely isn't joking and that's coming directly from the BMW configuration which is quite sad. Getting it modified at a shop would be cheaper, and you'd even be able to put a gel insert in for more comfort.

I have tried gel inserts and found them to be a waste of time as far as comfort is concerned. There is a motorcycle seat modifier near Bradford (Motorcycle Seatworks) who removes loads of them from disappointed owners bike seats and consequently has the cheapest gel pads available!

Ahahaha, we'll be sure to check them out for really cheap gel pads if anyone ever decides to give them a go. I'm sure they have a nice collection of options for people to choose from by now.

Guess extra/better foam is the way to go.

Hm.. didn't know that. Maybe take the G310 over by there and see what they recommend to get done that will allow a lower seat that's equally if not more comfortable than the oem
