Welcome from San Antonio, Texas. From the U.K. but now in Japan? That must have been a really serious wrong turn! :grin2:
Hope you enjoy your new baby BMW. Just last spring I exchanged my venerable and much loved '93 K75S for a 2018 G310R. The Flying Brick became too heavy and cumbersome for me to handle comfortably (at age 73). Not a problem because I'm finding that the little 310 is an absolute hoot to ride.
Bob, I lived in New Zealand for 18 years between UK and Japan....my last 3 bikes were 2015 BMW S1000RR, 2016 BMW S1000R, 2017 BMW S1000R and now the G310GS, many other bikes since 1975... I also have a Honda C50 and a Honda CT50. the S1000R was not right for Japan in my opinion, too much HP, in NZ it was perfect empty roads (FAST roads). Here in JP I have to travel 1.5 to 2.5 hours to find roads were I can play... My location was not through choice, and it's a bummer when a keen biker...
