I have a 10k commute in city traffic, couple of bottlenecks where traffic gets a bit slow (can't lane filter yet on my licence, have to wait until October), two school zones where the speed is 40km/h, a couple of back streets where the speed limit is 40-50km/h and about 6k of main roads where the speed is 60km/h, not that much shifting, I keep the revs under 6k and typically just get up to 4th (60km/h), sometimes 5th at around 60km/h when traffic is clear or when going downhill. Shifting is really easy on this bike and it handles really nicely as well with plenty of power when you need it.

Only downside is that I think I'm developing permanent smile lines

I'm located in Brisbane Australia, the weather is perfect at the moment, winter is the best time to ride with temperature ranging between 15-25C during the day, last week had pretty clear skies, some small showers forecast for next week.

HAHA, the grass is always greener, would love to have a Canadian winter here in Australia, although everything would grind to a standstill if we got 1cm of snow. Will try to take more pictures (will probably have to wait till the weekends though). That picture game suggested in the forum sounds good, I'll try to get out this weekend to take a picture of my bike near train tracks.

Oh isn't it always haha! I feel like if we switched positions for a few months, we'd probably want to revert back to our initial areas though. Grass is always greener UNTIL you spend enough time on the other side :wink2:

Can't wait to see some photos though, the picture game is definitely a great idea, unfortunately, I'll be out of the game for a while until I get my G310
