Hi all - bike is NOT running, needs new cams and rocker arms due to premature wear/failure of lobes (apparently a known issue). Bike is in otherwise exceptional shape - never been down and have service records. Bike has 10k miles.

This was well timed info. I'm about to go in and check valves. I'll spend a little extra time studying and measuring with your story in mind.
Looks like cams/rockers & "stuff" would be ~$1000 in parts. That line up roughly with what you were quoted?
