Just installed this pelican type case from harbor freight the whole thing took me about an hour including measuring to center it. I had a smallish rear bag and I kept overloading it so it was time to get bigger. I'll take it out tomorrow and see if it affects the ride and handling at all.

Looking good, but you need bigger washers or it'll break soon. And you need washers under all bolt heads.

I mounted the same case from HF. Have you tried to remove the seat with the case that far forward? I originally mounted the case that far forward and couldn't get the seat off. Had to start over and move the case back so it didn't hang over the back of the seat.

Yeah mine is farther back, especially if someone rides pilon that wouldn't be ideal. BUT some people don't like Sir Mix A lot so a little butt might work.
