I highly recommend this modification. while many complain that the brake lever is too low, actually the main problem is that it is too much to the left, so in emergency situation one has to look for it to find out where the **** lever is.

I bent mine to the right to make it more accessible but it's still too low.
personally I don't mind so much that it is too low, as I use it only sparingly. but as the extender bolts on top of it, it makes is also higher.

I am finding the same issue now I done a few miles.
Where in the UK can I get a rear brake extender .
I got one from German company, too expensive, but there are many Chinese options which are as good. It is a highly recommended upgrade for sure. I am not so sure about gear lever extender, as it my hurt the gear box shaft in the event of fall.

you can try this, for instance: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Rear-Foot-Brake-Lever-Peg-Pad-Enlarge-Extender-For-BMW-G310R-G310GS-17-2018-BK-/233014932100
