Just back from a 400 km trip in Northern Ontario, odometer up to 11500 km ( First Service scheduled friday)

Not there yet, but rear tire is starting to get a flatter center patch and will have to be changed eventually.

The Street Radials are not a bad tire on the bike, but wondering if the street crowd has tried alternatives both in brand/model and in size.

Thanks in advance

I have close to 12k miles on my GS with the stock rear and front tires, both show very little wear. They should last over 20k miles according to my wear rate. I have mostly street use but around 1500 to 200 miles of dirt track and roads.

Just reread myself, that's 4000 km not 400, one 800km days, the rest around 500.:smile2:

Some of you have surprisingly high mileage so you have a head start on me

The Pilot Radial is surprisingly good for a stock tire. It's not done in yet, just looking to alternatives for now.

As for the curves, living in a urban environment imposes quite a bit of straight and boring to get to the twisties.:frown2:
