Got my kit in from Seat Concepts and I'm really pleased with how it turned out. I ordered the diamante top version and it has a very nice brushed leather look. This is not a full replacement seat, it comes with a new foam core, it's a bit softer and has a memory foam feel to it, and your choice of covers. You have to remove the factory foam and cover then glue the foam and staple the cover yourself. It was actually much easier than expected and the communication with Seat Concepts was excellent.

I didn't find the factory seat to be uncomfortable but I wanted to change the look. IMO this kit looks world's better than the stock seat and it does add comfort as well. I feel more planted in this seat, like it's conforming around me better.

Here's a link to their site. https://seatconcepts.com/products/bmw-2018-g-310-gs-r

Seat Concepts replaced my stock seat with their tall seat this morning. Then I rode ~250 miles on it. Butt bliss. And with my 32 inch inseam, I can still flat foot it. Just getting rid of the hump, and being able to scoot back and forth... :grin2:

I'm awaiting a tall seat from SC. It looks great on the bike and I'm happy to hear a positive ride report. I'm curious about the auxiliary port beneath the seat. Is it a BMW accessory or aftermarket? Was it a DIY project?

Seems great ! Is it a full seat replacement or just foam and cover kit ? Can you share a link for this product I'm also interested in ?

Same experience and opinion, the SC tall seat is allot more comfortable than stock, I need to say that the high seat from BMW is also allot more comfortable than the regular seat.

I also have 32” inseam and also agree that besides the comfy seat is superior to stock the fact that you can move freely makes it easier to find the right position, another advantage not mention is that the legs go more relaxed since they are less bended. Disadvantage is the obvious height increase that for a less experience rider might be an issue.

Dang me, that’s nice. I really dislike the hump. My fat butt does too. One tip I’ve used to make a seat mo comfy is a sheep skin pad. Cheap way out is the salvage yard. Find a Mercedes, it will have a huge seat cover. Nab the passenger seat one, probably unused. I’m a multiple offender on this, never spent much for sheep skin comfort.
