BMW built the G310R with a low seat height of 785 millimetres.

and if thats not low enough for you, BMW will offer you a low seat option... http://www.g310rforum.com/forum/121-bmw-g310r-dealers-purchasing-ordering/825-g310r-accessories.html

I should fit depending on the inseam measurements.
Smart move, since this is a bike in the entry-level range, it will help to cater to a larger crowd.

Surprised that after EICMA we haven't heard and first impressions feedback.

I think he's looking for riding feedback from testers and not spec articles. Don't think those are out yet.
It's due to go on sale mid 2016 so we will hear more about the seat height and comfort from test rider feedbacks.
I found this on BMW's site. It's a seat height configurator that will tell you which bike seat if most suited to your frame. Not quite sure if the g310r has been added to the list yet.

Through my experience of searching it hasn't shown up, unless it's location based and someone in europe might be able to see it.
It's still a good tool to see which bikes you can comfortably ride on and see if they are of similar ergonomics to the g310r. Tried the German site and the g310r sin't on there either.

Indeed, sure to save a lot of time when you go to the dealer!
Standing at 5 foot 3, I'm really unsure if even the lower seat would be appropriate ...
You'll most likely fit.

Seat height, unladen weight 30.9" (785 mm)
Inner leg curve, unladen weight 70.3" (1,785 mm)

The bike will most likely lower a bit with additional weight from the rider.
With whatever additional weight I have lol, I have trouble lowering those seats when you pull the lever ! But that is re-assuring
I meant the seat will sink a bit with your body weight on it, not with a lever. BMW will probably offer 2 seat options anyways to suit all rider heights.

Yea I was just referring to those office chairs lol, but hmm that definitely does make me feel better. Thanks for the info !
Sport bike seats do not work like your average office chair... Only adjustable seats are for cruisers and that's for the back rest portion.
I assume once the build page is up for the g310r, it's seat specs should be uploaded to this page too and you can check if the height is suitable for you.
It will indeed and some people can even use those specs and compare it to another bike thats similar. Doing that will give a good point of reference till these start showing up at dealers.
