Hi All,

I’ve had the 310 about 5 months now and not done a lot of mileage on it. Looking to put a lot more on, but struggling to get the 600 mile service booked in. Anyone else finding this in the UK? I want to stay legit for the first few, but aside from my local having a 2 month wait, the others don't seem to care.

sorry to hear that - is the dealer you purchased it from not more accomadating.?
Perhaps popping in and chatting face2face to the sales guy might yield a better result..
But otherwise just book in for when you can .
Many of us have suffered the poor bmw sevice - I bet if you had a 1250gs they'd see you next week..

The one I bought It from at least gave me a date. But I find they can't access the systems on the weekend for booking in, when they are most needed. At least that's what they tell me.

My dealer here in North Texas, European Cycle Sport, is awesome. During the week is by appointment only. On Saturday is first come, first serve. They treat me like I own several 1250’$.

In the nearly four years I've had my 310R I've found Rybrook Motorrad in Wolverhampton exemplary when it comes to service and warranty work, nothing has been too much trouble. 5 Stars.

I had a similar experience when I got my 310 GS. The dealer I bought it from didn't have an appointment available until four weeks out. I had to call four or five dealers before I found one who was happy to have me as a customer. It was a 170 mile trip, so I turned it into a weekend tour.

Ask your dealer if you can drop off your bike for a week so they have your bike right there to get it done if some time opens up, . I've done that successfully several times when my dealer was all booked.

That said, the real lesson here is that you need to think ahead and book your services so you ride time doesn't suffer. Especially when Spring is near or already springing. I did my 12k mile service a 1,000 miles early to avoid just such complications.
