Thought I would share my install of the Skene P3 (with deceleration).

This is an add-on LED Run,Brake and Turn Signal system with a unique "conspicuity flicker" which hopefully prevent someone from rear-ending me.

All details of the product can be found on their website:
https://www.skenelights.com/

I am not being paid or compensated for this forum submission by Skene Lights. I am doing this for the G310 Forum to help keep everyone safer from those oblivious automobile :surprise: drivers out there.

To better see how effective these lights are, go the the Skene website and/or youtube search "Skene LED P3"

Wire Harness
Just under the seat(metal seat locking mechanism shown in pic)
Turn signals Right & Left have plug connectors zip tied to the frame on RHS and LHS.
Taillight and License Plate Light are part of one large square connector that plugs into the back of the LED Taillight housing. This harness is tape wrapped and runs along side the RHS of the tool bag compartment.
Picture with RH & LH turn signal plugs and exposed Brake Light Harness.

The most time consuming part of the entire install was figuring out the wiring colors. So here's the fast track answer.

Wire Colors
RH Turn Signal Green-Brown Stripe / Black -White Stripe is Ground
LH Turn Signal Purple-Black Stripe / Black-White Stripe is Ground
Brake Harness has 5 wires, use only 3 of the 5
Orange-White Stripe(2 wires) +12V
Gray-Red Stripe(2 wires) Brake Signal
Black-White Stripe Ground

BryanC Thank you for the post. I am in total agreement with being seen, I installed a Shin Yo stop and tail light on my MT09 Tracer, because when I fitted the carrier rack, and put the top box on, the box sticks out quite a bit and i was concerned that anybody following me in a high vehicle might not see me clearly due to the top box partially hiding the rear light.-hence the Shin Yo. I have now bought another to go on the G310r
Can I ask how did you tap into the existing wiring? did you just pare away the original wire insulation and solder the new wires to them, I don't see any Positap connectors?. I'm curious as the why the brake/stop light has 5 wires? and I assume it does not matter which of the same colour wires you tap into?.
But the light looks great. Not sure if flickering lights are legal here in the UK.

Blackie,
I used the PosiTaps to test out the wiring. In my opinion for this install, not having a lot of room, the PosiTaps would not make for a "clean" install so I decided to shave a small portion of the wire that I needed to "tap into", wrapped the Skene wire around this small area then soldered it together. No way they will come apart due to vibration.

The 5 wires were in the Brake harness for the large plastic brake module which includes the brake and license plate light. there is a sub bundle with 3 wires and the other sub bundle with only two wires. Some of the wire colors are duplicated. I used the three wires from the 3 wire sub bundle.

I would suggest that you contact Skene Lights directly regarding use in the UK. They might know since they ship worldwide. The "flicker" of these LEDs are really noticeable even in the daylight.
Good luck!
