I only ever ride on the road and at fairly leisurely speed. Before I bought the bike I had read the front suspension was a bit soft. I have had no problems cornering etc but have noticed the bike dips a lot of you have to apply the front brake in a hurry. We are in the silly season in Scotland with hundreds of tourists who seem to turn, brake and generally cannot drive on our narrower roads.
Would a change of front suspension make a difference?

hi Blldiver47,
You could probably spend lots of £ with a upgraded set-up.
But you might 1st try a heavier weight of fork oil.
I'm guessing the standard is fairly 'light' [eg 5sae]
You could try 7.5 / 10 / 15 etc.
Also the air gap above the oil could be decreased.
Perhaps some of the off-road guys have more input on this topic..

After 300 miles I have changed the front suspension with other springs from Hyperpro Suspension.
I have comparable suspension from Hyperpro on my S1000RR and HP2 Sport. Very happy.

The original springs are very soft, but the finish of the surface is also very poor.
There was already a lot of metal in the oil..

The rear shock is also what we call a bike pump. 🤣
If you do not wish to change, ground clearance and bike angle is a little bit better bij changing the preload with 2-3 steps up.

With the Hyperpro springs I can ride the little BMW like a sportsbike.
Open the throttle earlier while cornering.
