Picked it up from the dealer Thursday, only 6ks on the clock, A Tri Colour GS. 100k ride home, parked it in the stable and got a whiff of that sweet acrid smell of burnt paint and new motorcycle. The GS rode really nice once I'd reduced the tyre pressure to 28/32psi, got the motech engine guards fitted, jacked the rear suspension up to 3, ordered one of those Dominator round exhaust from Poland. (Incredibly cheap option to get rid of the cat and to let the 310 growl) Now all I've got to do is ride off the first 1,000ks. Looking forward to winding it out to the white light and hearing that sweet song the 310 engine gets when the K's build up. Was looking at other dirt bikes but nothing could come near the GS's versatility to cope with both dirt and freeway.
