Didn't think to compare these two models until someone uploaded a comparison chart on Instagram.

People probably compare the two models because of the prices. The Benelli is hella expensive for a 300cc bike. Yea it has more hp but not at that price and the g310r is more fuel efficient.
It's not even that much more HP, it's not enough of an increase in horsepower and torque to say there's anything different going on their, it's actually better on the G310R since its all happening at lower RPMs. I've been with BMW for a while and trust them, so by default G310R is my pick.
That pricing for the TNT 300 is pretty mind blowing :|
The price is mostly dependent on the currency it's based one. It looks like they have the g310r price listed as approximately 19.000.000
I think it rounds out to be just under $5k USD. $4200ish or something based off of 2.83 lakhs converting to usd on today's date at this time.
The g310r may have less hp, but it's lighter body and torque does put it ahead of the Tnt 300.
Aesthetically I prefer the G310r as well. Not to say the TNT looks bad, but just a personal preference thing.

If you've been into BMW's for a while then i'd say that response is to be expected, there's just something special about how BMW's look compared to other bikes, not something that can exactly be had elsewhere.
I was initially mostly a fan of the S1000RR because I mean.. just gorgeous lol but BMW bikes have definitely always had that "look"
I considered the Benelli ... as at least in the UK the pricing is very competitive. However, the G310R is a very accomplished bike as I am delighted to be finding out 1st hand :) The extra weight of the Benelli put me off as I wanted a light bike. My 310's ability to corner and switch sides is quite something ... good job the OE Michelins are up to the task thus far :)

The BN 251? It definitely looks nice, sportier than the G310R, but if it's as hefty as you say, the G310R may be more new rider friendly and easier to pick up in case of accidents.

BMW has ABS, Benelli does not. Benelli is a two cylinder, the BMW is a thumper. Price is about the same, I would choose BMW.

I test drove the tnt, looks def Italian, cost is about $1500 cheaper than the G310R, but the bike is extremely heavy for its size, the hp/weight ratio is terrible and as such it performes like a crippled dog, went to dealer when the release dates got stupid with the 310, the seat is very comfortable I will have to admit, but even at lower price the performance the bike isn't worth it, kinda sad I expected a lot more, so still have my wifes 310 on order.
