I went onto EBay and bought one off their site for £37 (GBP), looks like a Chinese GIVI replica, the pad it 'sits on' easily bolted to the OEM BMW carrier frame. Five years on still giving good service, would I buy again should it be needed ?. Most certainly.

So, today I decided to add a poor man’s top box. Instead of spending hundreds of dollars on a name brand product, I chose to cheap out using a DeWalt tool box! And I covered it with stickers to disguise it a bit. I also added a bar mount 12volt cigarette lighter socket with USB port.
