A video has been recently uploaded of a blue BMW G310R being tested on the streets of India. This is the first time we've seen it in action outside of a BMW commercial.

Wish we could have seen more of it. I did find the video kind of humorous though lol
You can see the g310r ergonomics in this video. The rider is sitting relatively upright with very little, if any, forward lean. could probably sit even straighter if he wanted to.
Indeed and that's the great thing about bikes in this segment, just about most riders in this segment will find their seating position will be around what we're seeing here, surely better than a sport bike.
There's different merits to each motorcycle segment and that's why BMW is coming out with variations of the g310r. Sport bikes may not be the most comfortable but they are cool. City bikes like the G310R are more for comfort and maneuverability.
Roadster and the rumored g310r adventure variant will be what you're looking for if ergonomics and comfort is a concern. It could be the rider or the bike or a combination of both but the g310r swerving behind the car to pass them looked so smooth.

Rider for sure, developing balance and the ability to ride like that takes someone confidence in their skills or someone that doesn't know at what point they should attempt that.

But it's a promo, so you can already guess the criteria they'll have for the one riding ;)
It's not a promo, just a test rider who was caught on camera. Probably why the rider passed the car and rode away so fast when he realized he was being filmed.
Great acceleration when he ripped down the road on their right.
Now that makes sense and looking back at the video the riders riding habits sure to correlate to that.
Hopefully now we'll be able to see more.
It's been quite a bit of time since we've seen anything ? Or have I just been under a rock for some time...
BMW hasn't really been advertising the g310r all that much, until now. Not really spied in real life but BMW plans to release a comic with the g310r in it.
Hm... not too sure if thats enough to do it justice for me.. Then again, I'm not really in a rush. Just being very impatient and getting antsy
Only recently they started to show small things about the bike, right now is a typical dead period in car and bike markets overall for promos. It's the calm before the storm, before the storm of promotions and to prime people to buy. But dealers might have promotional material in its most basic form... brochures.
Would be nice if we could get a brochure on it. Even better a digital version in a pdf or something. Wouldn't be a bad idea to swing by a dealership or two to see ?
Surprised they didn't get into an APP based version since car makers have started to do that and probably benefits them far more, making it THAT easy to know the product makes it easier to buy one.
An app based version would definitely be very appealing. Considering smart-phones are virtually in everyones hands, it's theoretically the ultimate way to get people on board. Especially having it downloaded on your phone, you'll be more prone to keep opening it and checking it and whatever the case may be.
Not a video but the g310r has been spied in India again.

Extremely dusty and dulled down ....? Looks like it just got thrown in a corner and left there
Maybe it went through a bit of dusty road testing in India. The whole bike is just covered with dust but I doubt BMW will just chuck a prototype into a corner and forget about it.
