I bought a used G310R.
I sent two emails to the seller, to ask if I'd get a hard copy of the warranty, which I understand is 3 years.
I got no reply.
This 2022 bike was bought Jan 21/2023, with 1900 km on it.
What knowledge do we have, to know about applying this warranty to this bike?
Such as:
am I automatically covered;
do I need to advise BMW;
can I buy an extended warranty;
any other pertinent advice, please.

In the UK you notify BMW UK , think there was a warranty transfer form in the stuff I got from the previous owner, might be worth a phone call to BMW dealer or email to BMW Canada

Similar to Britmech: My local dealer closed, and so I had to take my GS to another one.
BMW have a database using the VIN number, and your dealer can check the history of the bike there.
I had minor work done under warranty by the new dealer, no problem.

Agree with all, but do register your bike with BMW. That way if there's a recall, they know how to notify you. Here's where you register since you're Canadian...
