@JerryG: I am curious about your setup ... why are there 2 potentiometers near the right mirror? Near the base of the left mirror I see a switch that strangely ressembles the one from the heated grips... correct? Why not mounting this switch inside the dashboard? Last question: which windscreen do you use and with which mounting system for the GPS?
Potentiometers are the remote control for my Warm and Safe heated gear set up; I use it to control my Warm and Safe Heated Layer Shirt and Heated Gloves. The receiver and the plug-ins reside under my left side panel - I pop it open (without removing the bolt), pull out the plug-ins, and pop it closed - the receiver stays under the left side panel.
Left mirror switch is my BMW OEM heated grips switch; the mount that came with it puts the switch between the handlebars and my tank bag under where my phone resides - very hard to get to while in motion. I suppose I could have cut a hole in my dash and mounted it there, I never considered that because I like having all my controls on the handlebars. Incidentally, my original BMW OEM heated grips switch failed; it was replaced under the two-year parts warranty, but the service manager at my dealer believes the wires might have been stressed. It comes with lots of wire, so I was very very careful this time to leave plenty of slack at full fork lock both ways.

I’m hoping I can use the same I have rox risers over the oem handle bar cover thing.

I have aftermarket handle bars with non weighted bar ends and it already messsed my phone up with the dampener (quad lock handlebar clamp)

I’m looking for other options as I want to have my phone mounted

You can replace your OEM handlebar top clamp with Rally Raid's OEM top clamp. That top clamp is pre drilled and tapped in a standard GPS mount AMPS hole pattern. I used RR's GPS mount b/c it pivots to my choice of angle.

By phone messed up, I'm inferring you had vibration damage to your camera. The vibrations at the center of the handlebars should be less than the vibrations when clamped further from the center, but no guaranty that they'll be enough less. All I know is that my Google Pixel 6 Pro hasn't been affected despite almost 12,000 miles of use on my G310GS plus another 5,000 miles of use on my S1000XR which has a similar setup.
