I have Rally Raid's Renthal Fat Bar(Adv Kit)-Gold RRP 485; your bars appear to have the same 1-1/8" at the center tapering to 7/8" at the ends.

You need the 1-1/8" version of "Barkbusters Aluminum Handguard Kit For 7/8" or 1 1/8" Handlebars".

Select the 1-1/8" option at the following link:

You also need the Barkbusters VPS Replacement Plastic Guards from the following link (lots of colors to choose from):

My local BMW dealer fitted my Protaper bar today. I used a riser / 22 to 28mm adapter, similar to ROX.
We used the 310 Barkbusters which I had on, and to make them fit they did the following: a thread inset into the open bar end of the Protaper, like the one the OEM bar have.
Then they fitted the BB, using the bar weights. They had to drill the hole bigger, to be the same as the threat inset. The 310 BB bar C-clamp doesn't fit over the thicker bar, so they used spacers as a temporary solution until I can get the 28mm fitting. The didn't had round head screws, so I will just later replace the ones that they used.

On the 10 km ride back home I immediately felt the following:
  • Less vibration on the mirrors
  • I had a better angle of view in the mirrors. With the OEM my elbows were covering half the view. Think it is due to the bars maybe a little more forward, and or wider, so my arms were more straight.
  • The setup is for me, 1,8 m tall, perfect, seated and standing. I think the risers lift the bar somewhere between 22 and 30 mm.
The bar, risers, threat insert and fitment cost me $180, which is not bad. I still have to add the new BB 28 mm C-clamps to the cost.

Bully for your team, using the bar end weights! That part is quite difficult, most delete them and install short levers. That’s possibly why your clamps are not fitting but you’ve about got it figured. I just went through this and ended up purchasing a $25 set of gaurds just for the clamps…It’s amazing how tricky a seemingly simple thing can be to install. Bar ends really do work well for vibrations hard to figure why many HG makers don’t size for them.

I have a protapers bar, how did they add thet threading to the bar? I have the SWMototech Kobra Handguards made for the OEM bar but if i can get my protapers threaded IM going to see if they can fit. I'm hoping it can.
