I am not a novice in biking, even though not the most experienced rider. I have 1000cc bike, 800cc, 650cc and some other bikes. But I must say that the small gs is my favourite. It is so nice and comfortable! I did put much money into make it more suitable: bar risers, full LED conversion (including Cyclops side lights), different mirrors, engine and tank protectors, smaller master cylinder (11mm), rear brake lever extender, Akra (stainless exhaust), better seat cover, better suspension, top and side racks, gel grips, and handlebar protectors. But at the end, it is a perfect bike. I ride it in the mountains (Himalayas), and no bike can beat it! I still need to fit the Magura 12mm brake master cylinder (in my opinion the best MC size for this bike) but other than that it is so amazing bike!

by the way, I changed the front shocks with Hypepro, and rear with RR - level first. But I made the mistake of ordering too hard spring ratio (130nm) and sent it back to be replaced with 120nm. with 130nm the shock was just to harsh and sitting too high. but it is as such a truly excellent shock, beating the oem 10 t0 1. but if I may suggest, if you hesitate about the spring rate - Always order the softer option!
