Hi I'm Best from Thailand
I got G310R last week and today I begin ride it but I fine some problem at the screen panel.
The General Warning Light & The Engine Electronics Symbol apper (Not flashes) after I ride about 11 Km.
I stop my Ride for check it's disappear in a moment.
I continue ride, it's appear again.
And sometime ABS Light appear also.
But no engine problem occur , I still ride to 100 km.

Anyone ever seen like this before?

Sounds like a trip to the dealer is mandatory. I would not let any of these types of issues continue any more than a couple days without the dealer being involved. The warranty is there for this type of problem, and it honestly sounds like an electronics failure of some sort ( EMS, Instrument cluster, ECM ) etc. Don't wait until a major problem develops to get it into a dealer or they may have the opinion that negligence played a part in the failure.

From the manual...

Engine in emergency-operation mode z

(General warning light lights up yellow. The engine electronics symbol appears on the display.)

Unusual handling when engine is in emergency operat- ing mode
Accident hazard
Adapt riding style: avoid rapid acceleration and passing maneuvers.

Possible cause:
The engine control unit has diagnosed a fault which impairs the engine performance or throttle response. The engine is run- ning in the emergency-operation mode. In exceptional cases, the engine stops and can no longer be started.
Have the malfunction corrected as soon as possible at an authorized service facility, preferably an authorized
BMW Motorrad Retailer.

It is possible to continue riding, however the engine performance and engine speed range may be impaired and not func- tion as normal.

Hi Best, glad you solved the problem.
However if I understand well, you checked and solved it yourself.
I would strongly suggest that you still visit the dealer you got the bike.
Modern bikes not only are sensitive to electronics, but also modern dealers have funny ideas about warranties and repairs. I would take it back anyway and at least inform them (dealers/or BMW directly by an e-mail), in case it happens again. I am sure you wouldn't want to (and you definitely shouldn't) pay anything if anything is faulty by manufacturing or assembly.
I hope that this is the last mishap on your bike, at least for a long time. Have fun!

Thank you for all suggestion.
Yesterday I found new problem. OMG!!!
The Engine rpm is high, even at neutral, 1st & 2nd Gear. (3000-4000rpm)
But in 4th-6th Gear is normally.
In morning is normally but after I ride it about 10 km. when I shift down to 1st Gear, Engine RPM still 3500 (like a fill in Throttle but I didn't)
And 1st-2nd gear the motorcycle can run without fill in Throttle (because engine is 3500 rpm)
I check the Throttle wire, harness is normal.
I think it's about intake air system (O2 sensor, leakage of intake hose)
I will take to Dealer within this week (T^T)

Update!!!
Today I take my G310R To dealer.
They found a screw loosen and make Throttle Valve Housing mistake operation.
So, Intake Air volume is mistake and idle rpm is high.

1. Solve problem --> add bolt for lock this screw & add Threadlocker, Service man confirm to me,that can not happen again.
2. Why this screw loosen? --> because the Threadlocker melt from high temp engine. and make this screw loosen
3. How many case like this? --> More than 3 case in other branch dealer.
3. How about dealer countermeasure plan, Thailand Dealer have meeting about recall all customer for add the lock bolt plan. (Just plan).
I think they can do it because Thailand start sale this model since Aug 2017. there are not much of customers.

High idle sorted

Got my 310GS back from the workshop, with its first 1000k service and the high idle problem sorted thanks to this thread. "Idle set screw found loose, lock nut fitted to prevent furthur movement"

I was able to to print out bestjita's thread and pass it over to the mechanic. The bike purred all the way home, engine much less chatty and bedding in nicely. Thanks bestjita and tonnetje

Could that be causing the cold start issue as well?

I've had this happen twice now in a week (on both of the long rides I've taken). Battery cables are tight. Both times the indicator lights stay off when the bike is turned off then on again.

I stopped by the dealership immediately after the lights came on the first time. When they turned the bike on there were no warning lights and no history of an engine fault, only the ABS fault. They weren't convinced I actually saw a warning light, so I sent them this pic in an email. I'll update with their response.
