If I decide to do this I won't use the stock decals...

 

You might even want to consider getting vinyl wrap in that color. These days it seems vinyl wrap comes in just about all the color someone could want and it would be much easier and better for the long term to just wrap vs paint. A bit difficult to install but worth it.
