High idle sorted

Got my 310GS back from the workshop, with its first 1000k service and the high idle problem sorted thanks to this thread. "Idle set screw found loose, lock nut fitted to prevent furthur movement"

I was able to to print out bestjita's thread and pass it over to the mechanic. The bike purred all the way home, engine much less chatty and bedding in nicely. Thanks bestjita and tonnetje
Hi all but where is the idle set screw in bs6g 310r

What BAS310 said. Get that thing back to the dealer. If it's just a software glitch, it'll probably be quickly resolved. If it's something more serious, you don’t want to potentially be making it any worse.
Not sure why people are saying go back to the dealer? I think they would do that before posting a problem, Yes?

Update!!!
Today I take my G310R To dealer.
They found a screw loosen and make Throttle Valve Housing mistake operation.
So, Intake Air volume is mistake and idle rpm is high.

1. Solve problem --> add bolt for lock this screw & add Threadlocker, Service man confirm to me,that can not happen again.
2. Why this screw loosen? --> because the Threadlocker melt from high temp engine. and make this screw loosen
3. How many case like this? --> More than 3 case in other branch dealer.
3. How about dealer countermeasure plan, Thailand Dealer have meeting about recall all customer for add the lock bolt plan. (Just plan).
I think they can do it because Thailand start sale this model since Aug 2017. there are not much of customers.
Hi, Do you know where is this screw located?? can be solved out of dealer by my self? I lose the warranty.

Plenty of owners of various vehicles whether they be motorcycles or cars, always post on forums before they even bother with consulting with dealer. In many cases, even if the vehicle is under warranty they still will not speak with the dealer...always hit the forums first.

If your warranty includes roadside assistance and towing, use it to get the bike back to the dealer even if you can't go with it. With that much going on, they are unlikely to be able to fix it while you wait anyway.
